“I had a book idea, but no clue what should happen next. I’d open my draft, stare at it, and close it again. Now I know where the next chapter is going. What a relief to sit down and actually write.”
Emily Parkernovel writer
“I didn’t need another page of text. I needed one detail that made the scene feel new. Lorika helped me find it. That’s what made the edit useful.”
Tereza Novákováebook author

Who writes with Lorika?

Book authors

Writing a paperback or hardcover? Give each chapter a clear purpose, even if you know how the book ends.

Ebook novelists

Make each scene in your next ebook feel fresh. Give readers a reason to keep turning the page.

Fanfiction writers

You know this cast. Keep the odd pauses, bad choices, and lines that make them who they are.

Film and television screenwriters

When everyone gives the same speech, something is off. Give each person a voice of their own.

Game writers and narrative designers

Give the next NPC something new to say. The village has heard enough of the same pleas for help.

Web serial authors

Another update is due. Move the plot forward without sending your cast through the same chat again.

Short story writers

You have fewer pages to make your point. Let every detail earn the space it takes.

Memoir writers

Keep the small details that make the story sound like you. Let your voice come through on the page.

Comic and graphic novel writers

There’s only so much room in a speech bubble. Make the line add something the picture hasn’t said.

Audio drama and podcast fiction writers

Read it aloud. If each voice sounds the same, try a new pace or a fresh choice of words.

Before you start writing...

Q: How does Lorika handle repeated phrases?

A: The Lorika agent reworks repeated phrases or suggests fresh ideas for you to choose from. Want a deeper edit? KIB, short for Kick in Bestseller, is an extra service that revises one chapter at a time. It reworks repeats and polishes the text. You still choose what fits your story.

Q: Can I use a draft I’ve already written?

A: This feature is planned. You’ll be able to bring in a draft and carry on from where you left off.

Q: Do I need to know how to write a book?

A: Nope. Start with a sentence about your idea. Lorika asks questions and guides you through the steps. You can change each draft as you go.

Q: What file formats can I download my book in?

A: You’ll be able to download your book at any stage as a DOCX, EPUB, or TXT file.

Q: What languages does Lorika support?

A: Lorika supports English, Spanish, and Ukrainian, with more languages on the way.

Q: Can I translate my book into another language?

A: Yes. Write your book once, then translate and localize the whole book into another supported language with one button. Translation uses impulses.

Q: Do manual edits use my impulses?

A: Nope :) Manual edits are always free. Change a word, rewrite a scene, or revise your whole book as many times as you like. You won’t use any impulses.

Q: Who owns my writing?

A: You do. Your text, outline, and uploads stay yours. You can export your manuscript. Make sure you have the rights to any work you upload.

Q: Is my book private?

A: Yes. Your manuscript is encrypted on our servers. It stays private unless you choose to share it through Lorika. Cloudflare (a guard for our website) checks for bots and adds another layer of protection.

Q: Is my book used to train AI?

A: No. We don’t use your books to teach AI how to write. You put your ideas into your story, and that’s where they belong. Your story stays your story.

Q: Are there any limits on where I can publish my book?

A: Lorika puts no limits on where you publish your book. Choose Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing, Wattpad, Apple Books, MyNovel, Booknet, and more. Each platform has its own rules for the books it accepts.

Q: Can I get a refund?

A: Yes. You can withdraw from a purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. Unused impulses and unused tools are refunded to your original payment method. Submit the request in Settings → Purchases. Lorika has no subscription. You buy impulses when you want to keep writing. Try your first chapter for free before you buy.
